Where can we find the laurel wreath today? Actually, if we just look around us, the answer is anywhere! In Maryland (US), we can even find a city, named "the City of Laurel"... Gone by are the times when only Olympic athletes had the honour of wearing it.
These days, the wreath, as been a round, symbolizes eternity, and therefore can be found on weddings, peace emblems, coins and even funerals, whilst the leaves of laurel itself appear in so many places, so that we hardly pay attention to it anymore. Let us look at some of them...
